Hi,
I have just destroyed my Slingshot Dwarf Craft (as you can hopefully see in the picture).
I was out in 12 knots working on some powered loops and the thing just gave up during a landing (not even hard 2.9G on my WOO).
Now I can see the build quality of the board I don't think I will be going with Slingshot again.
Looking for a strong pocket board with footstraps. What can you recommend?
Thanks,
Richard

There’s a good deal on a full carbon Groove Skate on FB - Kitesurfing and Wingsurfing Gear Swap USA. I’d be very tempted but I have a Groove Pro on order. They come with foot straps so seller should have them.

Groove explicitly states the Pro has features suitable for jumping.
Not sure if the construction really is that different with regular skate but might be easier if you have any issues with it to deal with warranty claims.
Note that all these boards (dwarf craft/groove and also eg Sabfoil B14) have extremely similar weight, size and volume.
I can’t imagine the construction will be very different/have huge strength differences between these unless they made a design mistake.
Would be interesting to hear what slingshot has to say about jumping with the dwarfcraft. eg neither slingshot or Sabfoil is mentioning jumping in their board descriptions so maybe they already know it’s something that will mess up the board sooner or later…
Maybe a no-volume “twintip” kind of construction would be better suited if you want something really sturdy?

Groove Skate son tablas muy duras y con insertos. De lo mejorcito que he probado. Tengo XS fullcarbon
Buen viento!
