Hello, in your experience, which LEI is usable on a TT and foil (hence not too heavy), that emphasis a very good balance between boosting (lift) and loops (agility) ? in the size of 8 to 10 meters. I am looking for an 'old' one, to get it cheap, just for test ...
I was thinking of Slingshot RPM 2011 or 2012 for example ; I am a bit afraid about its weight and relaunch in 12 knots .
Other kite model to investigate ? on 4 lines

Ozone Reo might be worth a try? Biased towards agility!

Ocean Rodeo Flite.
Ozone Catalyst (the old one that changed to Ozone Enduro when they added variable bridle geometry). The new catalyst which has a version number is a different kite.

I wouldn't go with anything Slingy from that era! Slingshot were tip of the spear for the add more scuff guard stage that had just peaked a couple years earlier! "bombproof" was in the marketing. They had thick frames, thick dacron, and plenty of it. Burly was their whole thing. I don't think I could stomach any kite from that era for any type of foiling.
IMO, there are no kites that are "good" at both TT and foil.
As an educated guess without much exp with them, I bet something like an early OR flight might be the "oldest" kite you could get that would do a bit of both.
From that era I would avoid anything from SS, LF, North. Even the first two gen of LF Solos were heavy.
Might be able to find a Naish kite from that era that isn't too overbuild, but I doubt it. Go a little bit more recent and find yourself a barely used Naish Triad or something cheap like that and your probably much better off for both kite performance and the glue holding it together.
If I wanted to get LEI's for foil and TT in a minimalist cheap set up, I'd source a used Boxer and maybe a smaller Pivot. Their both popular enough that there must be a few minty ones out there.

The RPM from that era is very agile, but it doesn't have a lot of lift. I think a better balance could be achieved with a high aspect (non-C shape) kite, which will provide lots of lift, combined with a larger control bar to improve agility. Ozone Edge and Cabrinha Apollo might be good, but you might need to consider 2015-2016 (I think the Apollo was made from 2015-2018).

what is wrong with you? I have ridden many old kites and let me tell you from experience, that thing is gonna explode. It might explode in mid air, it might explode on launch, maybe it will explode when you're 1 mile out. I have done so many swims, direct cause: old gear. Here's my adice. If you want a kite just "to test" and not necesarily to own, buy a relatively new used kite. Maybe a 2020 or 2019. Ride it for a month then if you don't like it resell it, you won't lose more than $100 or $200. The old kite is gonna make you go swimming. Trust me on this one. Voice of experience. Maybe you like swimming? Now it's true you will waste time listing and reselling your kite every time you decide you want to try something new, but that's going to be way less time than how much you'll waste swimming in when your kite fails.

^ lol. I own and use old kites and zero swims because of explosions after 10 years of kiting. Brand new kite can explode if you misuse it (like scratch it to rocks or corals).
In my opinion if you want a kite what is good for both, twintip and foiling you have to buy a foil kite (chrono, soul, sonic etc.). They drift well, fly in light wind and are lots of fun with twintip. But sure they are expensive if you're searching for something cheap.
Almost any LEI kite work somehow for both.. a low aspect 3 strut kite what isn't too heavy and will relaunch better. But IMHO they are just boring with twintip for boosting
