Hi, I am not happy withe the UFO V2 for freestyle strapless kitefoiling. I do a lot of tacks and I need a kite with more lift. Anyone rode the code already? thx

Interested too. I've been foiling with my RPM's for a few years and the RPX sounds good since it has some improvements for general freeride and some weight loss.
Unfortunately, Slingshot is taking some weird decisions with their lineup. The RPX V1 is from 2021 and no news about a new model and the raptor v1 being killed after 1 generation. I am also thinking about switching to Code's but I have not found reviews and demos in my area are complicated.

I did exactly this. From Ufo to Code. I started with replacing the 9. It has more lift (not much but now I can do way more tacks without touchdown). It feels heavier but I got used to it. The relaunch is way worse - you need to reverse relaunch instead of the super easy relaunch of the Ufo. Don't expect too much for your tacks - a bit cleaner but if you don't know how to do them this won't be a game changer.
