The pro fuse still feels heavy to me. I guess they drilled out the titanium one, and ive considered doing that on mine but the holes will just fill with water so not sure if that helps the weight at all.
It annoyed me to today, first session with Fluid MH and titanium fuse..
What kind of foam can we put in?.. pur? And how? What would be the best way? (Can make up several..)

The titanium pro stab is stated to be 20% lighter than the old fuse setup.. the alu pro stab setup is stated 40% lighter.. we have to read better at the site..
Weight was not my reason for getting it.. galvanic corrosion was.

But that Fluid MH .. great! Made some jumps as well, it pops out greatly, and now I understand you can can do rotations when you’re out the water, never felt that before.

Does anyone has the weight of the carbon adapter for the pro fuse for use with traditional stabs?
Haven’t seen such a part. Can you provide a link?

I can add measured weights from the current carbon masts:

GONG carbon mast 100cm = 2330gr
GONG carbon mast 85cm = 2185gr (includes the silicone cover on the plate)

Am quite surprised at the very mild difference between the two.

My two ALU fuselages for the non-monoblock mast (they fit also the v.2 aluminium mast) are around 900gr. One a bit less (about 880) the other slightly havier (I think 910gr). I go by memory, but I remember quite well as I was so surprised of their significant weight, making the new carbon mast + alu fuselage about 0.5kg heavier than the v2 carbon monoblock.

I'll look into my files for other parts and will post. I remember I weighted both monoblock masts in 100cm versions.

Thanks OP for collecting!

Hello,

maybe not 100% place to ask, but I'll try.
Could you help me with measerment of Gong mast-fuse connection.
New HM mast look great, thinking ta adapt mast to some other fuse manafacturer.

Tnx!

Thanks for input.
I just received an 85cm carbon mast today. It weighs 1991g - quite a bit less than yours?
I’ll update the chart soon.

Maybe better to start a new thread for this sort of thing.
However, I have measured an adapter with digital callipers. So dimensions are not 100% accurate but should be a good starting point:

This is a bit painful to hear.
But not too unexpected: it appears GONG can have rather significant variations in weight, especially at the beginning of the production runs.
My first Fluid wing, an L, was overspecced and I (just checked) 1.8 Kg.
Later batches were not so heavy, and the small tip "cut" of the L-s can't justify 720gr.

So, not (too much) surprise that your new 85 is so light. Mine are extremely low serials (one in the low 10s, the other in the low 30s).
Good to you! :thumb:

Maybe this time I'll wait instead of preordering the H mast...
Naaaaa!!!
