For me it was a bit harder to start in light wind in shallow water on the microchip.

I'm in the Triton board and these first few sessions it's with a single front hook. Light and unpredictable conditions here south of Mazatlan Mexco. 10m Roam, which is a kite I almost never need elsewhere in the world.

Riding 9m UFO for me is pretty extreme lightwind too. Comes with riding 1200 cm² wing and I’d usually take my “lightwind” 100cm Dwarfcraft Micro board.

When in lightwind I can ride out the board under water but when in shallows I gotta start right onto the foil

How stiff is the board? And would the box be durable enough if used as a pump foil board?

What is your lowest wind start with Ufo 9? What is range?

With 1200 cm² wing and water deeper than chest I’m fine riding in below 10 knots. This fall in OBX guys told me it was blowing 7-8 when I managed to ride. It took me a while to start and maybe it was stronger than 7 yet multiple balconies cheered when I could - magic just doesn’t happen and I’m 210 lbs. Probably a gust helped.
Below 10 is kind of hard to measure. I know for sure that I can comfortably fly the 9m before I can get enough power even to bodydrag. When I can bodydrag my lighter fronds can get up and ride and I need an extra knot. Again, with all the technique, 60 lbs of extra weight doesn’t help.

Upper range I’d go to is steady 10-11 when I can switch to a 7m UFO, then 5m starting in about a bit under whitecaps appear and up to 25 knots. Then 4m SST or 3m UFO

It’s very stiff, when I fitted a strap I took a small piece of skin out, plenty of carbon so I guess the track mount would be bomb proof.

Good day,

can anyone of you confirm if I can ride this super little board with any type of carbon foil kite like Moses / Sabfoil?

Or do I risk to lose it sunk under water if I mount the “wrong” foil kit?

Can it tolerate Aluminium foil kits?

Thanks a lot if you can let me know

Probably because they underestimated the demand. There's only 2 online stores in the US stores that show any in stock - kiteboarding.com and Real. Kiteboarding.com only shows 2 left. Naish themselves don't have any in stock.
