My new pocketboard - Naish Hover Microchip

Postby grigorib » Fri Oct 21, 2022 10:23 pm

I think I've got my new favorite pocket board.
Naish Hover Microchip 80x34.3x2.5cm, 5L, very light, tracks go further forward compared to Dwarfcraft. Pretty looks. No holes for straps which I don’t use. A kicker. Unmatched MSRP. Just what I wanted.
Here with 70cm mast and compared to larger, 90cm board

Update: it weighs 1.9 kg

1.7kg or something? If I ever get back to foiling I'd get that, fits in a normal luggage with a carbon 85cm mast, wings and fuselage along a couple of Peaks... Sorted, less than 10kg travel anywhere. Just short of 2000 euros lol.

Already sold out everywhere, but it was something shocking like US$450.

I got it for $351.20 after 20% off $439 MSRP
Inflation or not, these boards are super simple and cheap to make compared even to twintips and $900 price tags are ridiculous

Wow that DC100 next to it really puts things in perspective… That’s a real difference.

I thought about getting a DC locally before the exchange rates tanked... it was $1600 then  I'm thinking a custom board would be better for that sort of money :o
