10meter for 6/7 Up ton11/12 knots. Powerfull Kite
8 Meter from 9/10 knots... Fantastic Kite
Both Relaunch excelent.
And cheap

Your wind strengths must be different to mine. My 9m Ultra would 'just' allow me to start in about 9 knots on 30m lines and I'd need to work the kite to keep riding. Can't imagine an 8m doing the same. Used to ride a 12m ultra up to 15 knots comfortably.

I haven't used my ultra since I got a soul though. Not as easy to learn with but less need to carry a pump to the beach.

With 800cm2 high ar foil 12m ultra is highly needed. If you want 8kts range its definately needed as 80kg rider also. In a bit stronger wind it can feel big though, and might be worse with bigger foils too.
