Team,

Many thanks have narrowed it down it a UFO 9 or 11m for the foil, but just wanted to get a feeling of using with a directional board. There is no surf where I live but wind chop as the wind picks up and either I’m on the directional board of the foil

Many Thanks
Ant
UFO is an awesome choice for your foil. May not have as much grunt needed for a directional but is doable But just don’t think negatively about ufo if it’s not that fun . I have 4, 5, 7 UFOs I would think 9 or 7 for your situation.

The only thing that I can say about UFO for waves is that it drifts amazingly well. It's much better than Boxer on this subject.

Here's a foiling session on an UFO 9m

Wind direction market by Garmin and the downwind direction when coming back do the beach.

And here's the registered wind (at the beach)
