Yes the box shape should help stiffness. Pumping seems to stress boards a lot. We will find out soon if it is strong enough. But for kitefoil it should be absolutely fine - amazing that they think the market for pocket kiteboards is so small that they don't even mention it. Somehow takoon just decided to cancel kitefoiling.

The Axis Tray 94 (37”) definitely qualifies.
It floats due to the construction. Weight is unknown, but it sure looked light when I saw it. Some of the guys I spoke to loved how the board performed for a micro board. These guys are picky.
