Cedrus Evolution Wind Demos La Ventana

Postby BayAreaKite » Sun Jan 21, 2024 5:51 pm

Just a quick post to let you wind foilers know we'll be coming to La Ventana next week with a couple new Cedrus Evolution Wind masts: 80 and 85cm. We should have adapters for Axis, Unifoil, Takuma M8, and an Armstrong fuselage. If you're interested in checking it out, let me know and we can try to coordinate. Apologies we won't have any Surf models as we're having a hard time tearing them away from happy testers in Australia, Hawaii, and SoCal! Details on the designs here: https://projectcedrus.com/evolution-cedrus/

Looks awesome - Curious on how does the stiffness of this mast compare to the Axis masts (19mm Alum, Pro Ultra HM and Power HM)?

According to athletes who've ridden back to back with the new Pro Ultra HM, it feels very similar in terms of stiffness but different in other characteristics (flex profile, glide, stability). It is stiffer than the Classic and Clydesdale versions of Project Cedrus, and stiffer than any other Axis mast. As the brand that largely lead the stiffness movement with respect to mast design, we are focused on so many other important characteristics with the new Evolution lineup. Our Evolution Surf is now the best gliding and fastest turning mast on the market, and compatible with any and all foil brands using a new adapter interface:

There will be many more reviews coming, or feel free to demo yourself at The Foil Shop or next week in La Ventana!
