Is there a new generation of race kites coming from Ozone, Flysurfer, and FOne in the next few months?
Johnny dominated on an Ozone prototype at the last Gold Cup race in Australia, but haven't heard any news about when/if it will be available.
Is the IKA equipment registration still a thing that dictates the release of new race kites? Or is that over now that Formula is pretty much gone?

Formula is dead so there's no stupid release dates anymore. I'd guess you'll see new kites at the first Hydrofoil Pro Tour stop, and probably the top guys will have proto's year round. It's a development class

The R1 is on sale at -25% some places, so an R2 is probably just around the corner...
And don't forget about all the other companies that are also getting into race kites: LF Elite, Aeros Compi, Zeeko Helios(?), Storm Thunder, North(?) etc.
