I ride the CA Pulsion LW and like 27 m lines for light wind ( 8 - 12 kts) for KBH
Try it.

How well is the pulsion LW at keeping out the water after sitting on the water waiting to relaunch ? My friend has the 15 pulsion and a 10m soul 2 and he lands his soul in the water all the time and rolls it up with no water in it .

GL on this Forum would be best to answer this question because he only water launches/lands the Pulsions at his Home spot

I have 12, 9 and 6 metre Pulsions in regular cloth I launch and land them in waist deep water. I carry them out into the water folded with the bridle inside the folds. Out on the water I roll out the kite and hold the vents up to fill, once about 60% or more full I flip in on it's back and let out the lines as it drifts away. Once fully out I pull on centre lines together to stand it up on it's tail. Sometimes I will get a small amount of water in the kite. It just drips out of the tips as it takes off. I rarely have a problem even in wind to light to get on the board. Landing I put the kite to one side and flag it out to one line. I wind the lines up on bar and wrap bridles around bar till close to kite. I then roll kite onto bar to increase pressure in kite and then drag kite to shore doing addition rolls as I go. As long as I keep pressure in the kite I get almost no water in the kite. At shore I pick it up and carrying it onto the grass. I have swam it a long way doing this and had less than a cup of water in the kite. If the kite is laying on the water for a long time it will eventually take on water, although if it is laying on it's back with no pressure on the lines it can lay there for a while and not take on much water.

20 pages justifies every reminder :D

1. There is one velcro at each extremity like most foilkites.

2. There is a 30 cm zip (same kind of "reverted' zip, like for moutain jackets) ; it is located on.....
Hi.
My new pulsion has no velcro at the wingtips....Strange isn't it?
The water that gets into the kite can not gets out to relaunch.

Has anybody noticed it with new pulsions?

Also has not zip, Just the tipical velcro at the trailing edge. Not a big issue but I prefer the zip.

Zip were for the first models only ; then at a time say one year later, I asked for a velcro for weight issues , with other users , and Benoit Changed.
velcros a the wingtips were present during 2 year approx ; then, again following our feed back and since the Pulsion is not very watertight, he removed the velcro on my pu 18m and it worked well , so maybe he did that for all sizes ... (like Elf, Soul I think) and just reduced the exit hole ;

BUT, Benoit is quite open to customization, so If one asks for velcros or central zip, he should agree to include them.

Thanks for the info, Ben has told me that there is a small outlet on each wingtip, after putting my glasses I have found them... They are very small (5-6mm) and are sewn on top.

I will try again as they are, but I think they must be enlarged.

Indeed i should have précise: there a 2 cm openings without velcros that remain Always "open" like for Elf jocker and more recently FS souls (necessary to drain water out)

Mine has 5-6mm just between the green marks.

Your 12m has 2cm outlets?... Or you measured them on a 15-18m kite?
