Hi, the way Ozone suggests to fold a chrono/r1 seems quite impractical when you are on a windy beach, as bringing the downwind tip up to the upwind tip usually catches the wind . At some stage a guy showed me a much better way to pack down but I didn't pay enough attention . How do you guys prefer to fold your foil when it's windy??

When it is too windy to fold both tips together you can roll the tips to the center or roll entirely from one to the other tip.

Fold in half and Roll loosely when on windy beach. You could use a heavy redundant object like an lei to hold the upwind wingtip on the ground as you bring the downwind tip up. Concertina when practical and for long storage.

Lay it out flat, fold it over on both ends. Roll it up and throw it in the garbage, then go out and buy an LE like a man.

Keep the downwind tip low as you walk it up to the upwind tip. Like, drag it over the ground low...

What Kami said. As long as wind can't get under the wingtip, its not a problem.

Yeah. I flag out. unzip the vent then bring down wind tip to upwind low as practical.
Rough roll it if its real windy. Then re-roll it nicely in a windless location later.
Number one tip. Roll the shit out of the kite asap. If you leave the dw tip to flap for any length of time yourl get insane tangles.
