Is the 7 and 9 the only odd size as I would really like an 11m soul ?

The steps between smaller kites should be smaller and bigger kites bigger. I can't believe you could get that much difference between an 11 and 12. 7 to 9 is pushing it.

I was kiting at Cleethorpes landboarding and I was watching a guy and his wife flying souls and boosting big, kitesurfing and that made my mind up , I brought a speed5 15metre a couple of weeks ago and i'm gonna get a 6 and a 10 souls, I ve flown older flysurfers for several years and after having a few heavy hard bouts of kidney cancer that then went to my brain(kidney cancer secondry ) and coming out the other side pretty healthy , i'm been waiting 7 months to hear if I can drive again , but it should happen , I've been weight training again for 2 and a bit years , so I'm confidenty hoping to be driving back to my regular beach , Brancaster, Norfolk uk -should have my 6 and 10 soul in 7 to 10 days , the wife takes me some times , but its not the same is it , and lol I already have my kiting van , an old kangoo, which is ready and waiting
, ive been flying since 2003, but I need to get my confidence back for jumping , I was always good at that , learning to kite and jump with flexi blades , but I am really looking forward to regular flying on a decent hard beach again , with my modern flysurfers

nice one Slide.....do you still have to be a member of the club to landboard at Branny....I only kitesurf there now and it's open for all.

Try going to Rhossili beach for landboarding - you have a good solid kilometer of very hard packed sand....and the beach from Le Touqet to Berck in north France is mahoosive....though you may have to dodge the land yachts

there are 30 named members for landboarding and buggies, but as long as you kite in the right area .and the area allowed is right down the bottom, on the left hand side which is quite small until the tide goes out but sometimes buggy racers go there and there really is not enough room for that side of the sport , charging down the beach at 50 mph
- the locals were complaining seeing buggies flying tru the air and landboarders , so it was 30 members named or we ban it , 2003 , and it is quite a long walk down the beach ,but some times I've seen like 50 kite surfers there, but we don't ever clash with them , they want water , we want hard beach - it was amazing in the early days watching the gravity renegrades crew - I distinctly remember the moment when I was watching mark everitt buggy jumping and all the rest of it -I phoned my wife and said "I've just work out how to,how they jump, and then I was away slowly at first , and that's sorta what I have to do now , take it slowly at first, and I thought i'll get the best modern kites ,i'm 57 and my coordination is a bit off ,after the shit I've had , but I had a really good early morning session at Cleethorpes this weekend , flying my speed 2 10 metre delux black and gold , and I knew I can still do this , especially if I use depower foils , flicking myself about and sliding and I had some big jumps offered to me , but I was a bit tender with it and I had a couple of ones where I took a bit , let it off and took abit more , i'll build up to using more power and go for it again , I use to go high with the softest of landing, and that's my aim again

luckily i havent been around land yachts-can they stop quick?
buggy jumping started at Brancaster and there was a time when only rob hills and mark everitt, had and could do it , but it soon caught on but it seems very rare now
