Hi All,
A friend has a 10m Soul that started pulling left. Long mixer is even, and bridle is checked for symmetry but nothing seems to be off. Still pulls left... What is the proper fix? Mixer or PMAs ?
Ok let me share my experience on this one.
My 10m Soul crashed hard on the water on one side during a downloop. After that the kite was pulling to the left. I did the long mixer test on one side and then the other side and found some differences on one side. I fixed them, checked again each side individually and everything was in line ( note that i mention each side individually).
Then i go to the beach and got surprised by the kite pulling on the opposite side! I scratched my head for a few secs and then took both sides and measured them together. I didnt just do the long mixer test i literally checked knot to knot, line by line to see if any of the individual lines shrinked or streched. After checking all lines i ended with a long mixer test on both sides together making sure that both sides (left and right) are equal with each other on the long mixer. Back to the beach and the kite was flying dead straight and it was faster, jumping heigher, more hangtime etc.
So to summarise i found that not only the Z, A, B, C lines must be equal but left Z with right Z, left A with right A and so on.
Oh and my Soul is 3 years old with at least 600 hours on it. Probably more. Flies perfect now. I compared it with a friend's Soul with 20 hours and both fly exactly the same.
