Check if B and C are level with A and D
B is often too long when overflying (too much camber).

If nothing is found it could also be caused by very gusty wind or sudden release of line tension by jumping/stopping etc.

You could try shortening the steering lines inside the floaters on the bar. Try on a day with wind in the middle of the kite's range. After launching, when the kite is filled with air, make sure you have no depower trim, put the kite slightly off to one side and pull the bar in slowly. If the kite sits without back stalling after holding the bar inn fully for 10 sec, you can shorten the steering lines by a couple of cms (I have my stering lines 4 cm shorter than the front lines as default). Repeat until slight backstall is acheived. If you find that the backstall becomes a problem, you can use the depower trim.

curious... the trim mixer checker is just one anchoring/pivot point
Actually it anchors to the bridle at two points(steering and center) but the tool itself has only one point for ease of use.
From your video I dont see how the two points are different from if it was only one. Are not the two points just 10 cm of elastic rope from a single point? Can they be adjusted to compensate if A and Z are no longer equal?

...You can align A to Z. The black line bends after pulling with force. So it´s a bit "locked in" then, not much. Would be nice if there was a possibility to fix A to Z after aligning, kind of a clamp or so.

Hi All,

A friend has a 10m Soul that started pulling left. Long mixer is even, and bridle is checked for symmetry but nothing seems to be off. Still pulls left... What is the proper fix? Mixer or PMAs ?

Ok let me share my experience on this one.
My 10m Soul crashed hard on the water on one side during a downloop. After that the kite was pulling to the left. I did the long mixer test on one side and then the other side and found some differences on one side. I fixed them, checked again each side individually and everything was in line ( note that i mention each side individually).
Then i go to the beach and got surprised by the kite pulling on the opposite side! I scratched my head for a few secs and then took both sides and measured them together. I didnt just do the long mixer test i literally checked knot to knot, line by line to see if any of the individual lines shrinked or streched. After checking all lines i ended with a long mixer test on both sides together making sure that both sides (left and right) are equal with each other on the long mixer. Back to the beach and the kite was flying dead straight and it was faster, jumping heigher, more hangtime etc.

So to summarise i found that not only the Z, A, B, C lines must be equal but left Z with right Z, left A with right A and so on.
Oh and my Soul is 3 years old with at least 600 hours on it. Probably more. Flies perfect now. I compared it with a friend's Soul with 20 hours and both fly exactly the same.

Do a bar check. If that shows good, then start measuring lines using the diagrams on FS website.
