So since new info has either been released or leaked, I thought I would start an official thread on the soul. Latest word is it WILL be replacing the Speed 5.
Translated from french off the tubeless forum:
Some info !!
The new Flysurfer Soul wing is orderable for pre-order delivery late March early April for the first wings ordered. Feel free to contact me for more information. All info on the wing.
SOUL - The
freeride closed box wing of the future
For the SOUL we have paid particular attention to the stability and solidity so that our customers can exploit the performance easily and in the long term. The SOUL combines ease, comfort and performance which will allow to reach customers accustomed to inflatable wings.
The regulars will be delighted with very precise and direct steering and return to the ideal bar (a little more frank than on the speed5 to always know where his wing is and be more tolerant for less fine drivers).
Rerolling is easier than ever, as soon as the wind is sufficiently established a simple action on one of the rear allows to put the wing in the air (as on a flanged wing). The depower is improved in comparison with the previous models and the wing remains manageable even trimmed or shocked thoroughly.
The first test returns are exceptional, the SOUL will undoubtedly meet a great success.
SIZES AVAILABLE: 6/8/10/12/15/18 / 21m²
The decoration is identical for all the wings, only the color varies:
/////// 6/8 / 10m²: BLANCHES - BLACK - RED
/////// 12 / 15m²: WHITE - BLACK - GREEN
/////// 18 / 21m²: BLANCHES - BLACK - LIME (yellow-green)
PRICES
6 m2: 1399 €
8 m2: 1 499 €
10 m2: 1 649 €
12 m2: 1 799 €
15 m2: 1 999 €
18 m2: 2 199 €
21 m2: 2 399 €
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
New Ripstop "Xtra-Light" double fabric 32gr / m² (external coating type DLX + and internal coating Lotus, already used on the SONIC Race).
Fabrics exclusive to FLYSURFER which offers both the rigidity of the DLX + necessary for the performance and waterproofness of LOTUS. The leading edge remains in DLX + (as on speed5) to optimize the solidity at this critical place.
This combination of materials allows for weight savings while remaining strong and durable, which is a real benefit of FLYSURFER.
BARS
Bar compatibility: compatible with all 4-line bars of equal length including the Flysurfer Inifinity 3 bar.
The wing has been designed to work with line lengths of 12 to 21m.
Settings: the famous mixer test but also markings on the lines for easy comparison by symmetry or with plans of suspension.
The SOUL replaces the SPEED5 catalog after more than 2 years of good and loyal services.
The first SOUL should be available at the end of March / beginning of April, the pre-orders are open from today.

I just saw that and I tend to agree with the post a little further down. The S5 will remain in the lineup as long as they have stock but I don’t see them producing more. My prediction for 2019 will be the Sonic3 turned into the Speed 6. We shall see.

That makes sense. Sonic Race V2 prototypes are being flown at La Ventanna Hydrofoil Pro Tour right now. Three fairly high aspect foil kites (Speed+Sonic+Sonic Race) doesn't really make sense while Ozone seems to have the market cornered on freeride foil kite with the hyperlink.
Are there any pictures of the soul?

The ballooning on each cell is very minimal.

Looking on the oase forum.
Armin – Jokingly referred to the soul as a “new mega link between Tubekite and Softkite”
Looks to be a freeride foil.
