Hi Foil :) Good old days - yea!
i did some boosting on FRS on TT. It definitely can jump high. Not sure if better or worse than HL - i think it will be ca. same level - but not sure because as you mentioned im riding strapless and have no interested in jumping /nothing bad about it - it just doesn't attract me/. Soul is little bit better jumper than FRS - and probably also HL. I don't like Souls handling though.

Does anyone have experience with the 27g Version on snow? I thought about getting the 12m FRS for light wind hydrofoil and snowkiting, but have no idea how robust the cloth is.

Even 32g for standardcloth doesnt seem heavy and it might withstand more scrape loops on hard snow.

Someone on Lesfoils measured the 12m ul in 27gr to 1688gr (so light!), has someone weighed the 32g version?

I don't have a 32g version of the 12m, only 27g and 40g.
Keep in mind the 32g fabric is the same fabric that flysurfer uses. I have a 6m FRS in 32g, and while I don't have any experience snowkiting, I would think 32g would be fine. I had to take a hard look to really feel any difference.

Thanks Geokite, is the 32g fabric the silicone stuff that is on the rear part of Peak4?

I haven't seen a Peak4 in person, but the fabric that Kitech uses is very slippery. So probably the same. I have felt the fabric on a Soul, and it is the same.

Must be a bitch to sew, which makes the Kitech kites even more of a deal.

Big power and still excellent wind range for the 12 ul even in the mountains, but beware of disturbed winds

I just picked up my 6m FRS. Just rolled it out on the grass. It looks really good quality. Have not flown it yet . the material feels the same as ozone hyperlink v2.

Following this thread I got a 12m FRS in standard material (32g) and am very happy with it. The standard cloth version hangs in the air in very little wind.

As others have mentioned, the stearing is nice and direct and the easy depower makes it great for foiling. When i sheet out and direct it up for a jump it does not pull much before i sheet in again. Easy jumps - much float

Nice kite, can recommend!
