Thanks to everyone in this thread. The Peak4 heightened my interest after reading all of the comments, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I rode in 18-35mph winds this weekend and did a review.
your production quality is pretty good bro
good jerb
I did my first lesson with the Peak 4 and have some more insights on relaunch to share.
If you keep rear line tension when it hits the water you can reverse launch it okay. Trouble is if it gets too much water caught inside the leading edge trough then it just starts to pivot instead of reverse launch as you can see at 5:11.
They kite is pretty quick to sink once it goes under in low winds.
I think I was 1/5 on relaunch after it being crashed by the student.

Thanks. My weight is 76 Kg. and my foil combos are: Groove Skate L/M and MHL Lift 170 /110, Ketos Pocket and V1200/Freeride 2/Wave. With the high lift foils (MHL 170/Ketos V1200) the wind ranges are the followings:
- 3 m, not yet tested;
- 4 m, 14 to 35 Knots;
- 5 m, 12 to 23 Knots;
- 8 m, 8 to 20 Knots;
- 11 m, 6/7 to 18 Knots.
I hope this helps.
Cheers
Carlo

Question for Peak 4 for users. Favorite self landing method? Thanks
I only have the 8m, so this is for winds 8-14 kts. I find i can bring it down on the edge of the wind window, grab an arms length of the lower front line, give it a good hard pull and run towards the kite. It collapses instantly that you move towards it and i can grab a wingtip before it has flipped over more than once. I can then put my helmet with a few stones in it on the wingtip to keep it still.
