Pulsion mixer test?

Is there a mixer test for the pulsion? Or some kind of guide? Seems a bit different with A adjustment and back line length below Z being adjustable. [Edit: Summary of a simple adjustment advice attached (with thanks to Regis)]

As far as i remembrr the alignement of knots of mine is similar to yours. If you can read french i can give you a link to some explanations , drawings and impact of mixer test on the pulsion.

Overall the red line on your picture is the C pulley. If you connect it closer to the kite you gain some power and agility but less stability (but you still have largely enough) and less high end. A and a bit less L/D ratio (Hence less upwind) but small impact since you save power .

- but I can't quite match your picture with my memory of the bridle (I don't remember any Z adjustment, just a back-line adjustment as in my picture)

If the settings look reasonable as they are then I will just use them as is until I learn a bit more about how this beast flies.

Yes the link is correct. I confirm there is only A or C adjustement not Z on the pulsion .

The second picture with Z adjustement represents another different speed system with Z adjustable, purpose is just to illustrate that it has the same imoact on profile as pulsion A or C setting

So is the C pully line wrong on my picture? Should it be moved to the lowest knot?

There is no "wrong setting" ; you are currently at the high wind setting. If you want more power for medium-light wind sessions you move the yellow line (A main) toward the bar (and the rear line at the last knot toward the bar if you want to keep exactly the same bar trim setting, no obligation and depending on your bar preference).

Then you will never move these 2 knots again : you only play with the red (pulley C) line. If you want even more power for extreme light (And faster turning), you move the red line (C pulley) toward the kite. If you want less power for higher wind you move it toward the bar closer to the yellow line .

Just one clarification : my above drawing is for the fist generation of Pulsion. 2 years ago Benoit changed slightly by removing the "Loop" system on A and replace by direct knots on A. This inverts the sertting : on old pulsions , connecting A on the knot closer to the kite is for light winds .

So, my advice on knot movings in preceeding messages is for the last pulsions versions with one direct knot for Aand one direct knot for C (like your photo).
