I'm happy owner of a Hyperlink 9m UL and 7m standard.
I've done 80% of my 90 yearly sessions on the 9m UL and it's a fantastic foil kite for foiling in 10-18 knots.
My wishes for a V2:
Closed cell only to reduce complexity and weight further.
All kites in UL as standard and non UL as special order.
Make it super tight and waterproof for less water ingress
Keep bridles as they are- simple and easy.
Remove zipper deflation and use sock/velcro style.
Offer 5-7-9-13 sizes. Make 13 a specific LW kite in only UL materials and adjust aspects for LW.
All bags in UL style.
I know there are a lot of Soul fans out there, and I'm sure it's a good kite, but please refrain from saying to " get a Soul ".

First: get a S... If prices are close to each other this should be no brainer - brand loyalty is a bit ridiculous. Who would buy a Skoda if Mercedes is available for the same money? Even though Skodas are nice cars today.

I agree. I've used closed cell foil kites for years for snow kiting, it is not a problem. Neither is a LEI.

Well, the bridle isn't that good... For example new HQ kite with higher cell count has simpler bridle with less line.

Ultralight cloth is more delicate. So I agree with UL as the default only for the largest size. I already have extraordinary low end with my 9 in regular cloth.
Consider just one convertible valve to open cell. And use that valve as the deflate zip so no top skin zip. The benefit of open cell is the kite deflates on safety so less pull and less flogging.
I think the double braid bridles of the HL make a more robust kite than the competitor.

Ozone like Skoda ?and FS like mercedes ? please...
Back to topic - in next Hyperlink i want to remove 2 zipper and leave only 3 - maybe make better and closer turning, but now we can make it by shortening Z line. Second and most important wich is better price for us. Ozone have great high quality products, and he is valued because he can. Thats all - other models have another characteristic so we have Chronos, and R1 or some open cell models to choose.
Peace

No, it was a comparison between Soul (technically superior) and Hyperlink (quite ordinary mid AR kite). If my allegory was inappropriate it was it towards Skoda, not to Hyperlink.
As a manufacturers both FS and Ozone are on top. Because FS has now Soul (most advanced kite in general), Sonic VMG (race kite with most advanced bridle) and Peak4 (fourth gen hybrid single skin) it is fair to say FS is a leader (in foils).

Wants basically a Soul but refuses to buy a Soul
But seriously I would hope air tightness would be towards the top of the list, maybe get rid of the open cell gimmick and more adjustment of the bridle, and get rid of the zippers. I'm not holding my breath on pricing though, seems Ozone is in the mindset of if it's more expensive it's gotta be better right(talking about the Chrono V3 here).

Hmm. Better water ingress prevention but keep the flying characteristics of the pivotal kite loops.

I struggle to understand why Soul is compared with Hyperlink? It is similar to comparing a C-kite to a allround-freestyle tube. Both are great but for different things. Is it a marketing thing from FS, or where did it come from?
We all know higher AR means more performance. The comparison should be be between the most similar AR kites, from these brands it would be Chrono & Soul rather. Naturally you can make them differently successfull, how they succeed would be a more logical discussion to me.

I started this thread and didn't want a comparison, but thoughts on how to improve the hyperlink, from others that use a Hyperlink.
Comparison happens because Soul fans are always going off topic and saying " get a Soul" to many inquiries about Hyperlink.
