Sorry, but this needs to be repeated here (it was originally brought to my attention in a different thread).
https://www.peterlynnkiteboarding.com/r ... lity-check
A 'stability test' with the bar sheeted in is not a stability test of any kite...

The 6m Nova I had didn't come with a manual, and the bridles were not color coded. And multiple emails to PLKB went unanswered.
The Nova felt faster than it should be for an easy ride foil kite. My Kitech FRS kites are much easier to fly, more stable, bridles tangle way less, and have better depower.

Geokite seems you have an 'agenda' with PLKB ?........ eg Kitech "easier to fly....more stable, etc"......er no they are not.You seem to be the only person on the forum who has an issue with the Nova, I wonder why ?.......

Agenda? Sorry if sharing my experience comes across as an agenda and counter to your experience flying both kites. That assumes you have flown both.

I didn't make the rediculous stability video. That's on them...

EDIT: seeing that you sell PL, I'd say you have an agenda. No brand affiliation on this end.

I don't hide the fact I sell PLKB (along with many other brands) and I do so because I think they are good products. I have flown Kitech (+ozone/flysurfer/duotone/HQ ) and I honestly think the Nova is the best value for money.

"Best value for money" goes to any kite from Pansh.

Foilholio you said "any" kite from Pansh above . However, you have also said "Some of their models are not too good " on a Pansh thread........ also if you consider the 'cost' of the time needed to 'mod' as often needed ,even when new,the price is not great. There are many ,many quality brands.....and then there is Pansh

Valve wasn’t the subject being discussed here but looking at the price of the Nova (12m kite only) its £1165.00 in the UK from one dealer.
The term value and what you get for your money does need to be clarified. (Value is perhaps a matter of opinion)
The forum user “geokite” made reference to the bridles not being colour coded as well as emails from PLKB not being answered.
As a dealer of PLKB products are you able to comment?

Well, can be, haven't flown it and would be still a bit interested in the 4 m².

The question to me is,
not just about the Nova but also about other kites as the GIN Marabou or worst example the Pansh kites:

It is possible to find good words about those kites but there are no videos with good kiters showing interesting sessions and style. Why?
And I am not talking about Hawaii huge waves, triple handlepass, megaloops and all those stuff never relevant for normal users. Just talking about a normal good rider showing a good session not even necessarily with semiprofessional video cutting, but with a bit more than riding straight or small one footer.

Best video I can find about Nova is were Peter Lynn seems to have had an even very good rider with Philipe Caneri but the video is less than average.

Not talking about Pansh were most videos makes you even scared about safety for people using them and people around.

And it is not about cost, skill, level, brand size etc.
You find those videos I mean for every good also small brands kite even 15 years ago and from normal users:

fs psycho1 (2003-2004!)
ozone chrono1
conceptAir pulsion
kitech fly
lecca lecca minima

Just about Nova, Marabou and Pansh, at least I was not able to find one ...

anybody?
