That's also what I experienced with my 6m, what is also massive fun when the waves are high enough is to ride a wave, ride towards the kite but sheet all the way in but without power from kite so it "drifts" in a stable way deep in the WW. When the wave is gone or you go to the next one sheet out and edge the board and the kite will shoot you out the wave or down the line to a higher section where you can ride it again.... The acceleration is really good fun especially with small foil kites. Works on any board.

It's a shame PLKB doesn't produce a 15m Nova as i would have seriously considered buying one to compliment my 10m Nova.
The next size up from the 10m is the 12m and would suggest the overlap would be too much!

Were you looking at the ultra light version tables? That would match up with your expectations

I had a great couple of hours with my 10m U/L Nova the other weekend. Held it's own with a 10m Soul and a 11m Sonic, and I'm 20kgs heavier than those riders. Measured 8-9kts on the beach with a handheld which might be 1kt under.
We all had a great session in the ocean, catching small swell, playing in the water which was clear and green without too much wind to mess it up.
While we were out there were 4 13m-17m inflatos on the beach with a couple of foil boards. They couldn't get out all arvo. A few years back I was that guy.
The Nova was great, barely curled a tip once when I caught a wave too far dwownwind. Other than that it was perfectly behaved , I really clicked with it., much love now

I've got the Nova v1 proto 15sqm2 years ago,
Feedback i give to the brand that it doesnt offer a better low end compare to a 12 sqm, just play with your line lenght to increase or decrease the windrange. 15sqm was pretty slow and like a tank, that's why they dont release
As far as i know, next nova 2 gonna be 6 - 8 - 10 -12 - 15 - 18m² with improved behaviour

New Nova V2 should be out soon. The Nova V2 has an innovative new profile combined with an open canopy design to increase wind range, speed and turning abilities. This is combined with a new high end fabric . As it is in effect the third iteration ( the ultralight was quite different from the stndard Nova ) should be an improvement to what was already a good kite.

I understand the new sizes will be 5-9 ,the 11,13 and 15. Think the price will be comparable to the Kauper Falcon, which looks like a really nice kite for recreational foilers too.

Have any pics details? Sounds interesting. I've always respected PL. If they can get similar low end compared to the Falcon without using fabric that will tear if you sneeze on it, it may be very interesting.

Cannot comment on specifics at the moment but PLKB should be putting out detailed specs quite soon . I am assuming there will be just one version, similar tp Ozone HL and Kauper intead of standard/ultralight, which will have the best balance of lightness and durability. As soon as I have info I will post it.
