My friend was riding a Ozone 12 meter Hyperlink V1 kite near some other kite surfers. One of the other riders looked around saw my friend floating in the water face down unconscious breathing H20, however the Ozone Kite was so stable that it was gently flying uncontrolled overhead the drowning rider.
The other riders rushed to him, dropped his kite, turned him over(note he was turning blue) and gave him mouth to mouth. He woke up in the hospital ten(10) days later with no recollection of what occurred.
It appears he had heart fibrillation at around 240 beats per minute.
His kite flying gently overhead, was what alerted the other riders that something was wrong.
Note he is back kite surfing again, probably due to the inherent stability of the Ozone Hyperlink.
