Difference between "straight" (FRS) and "rounded" (Soul) wingtip.

And yet i have this kite - and actually flown it back to Soul - your etalon- on many occasion. It has shorter bridle than Soul - it turns much quicker /more than size quicker/ and have much more depower which is accessible not only on edge of window but also while flying through WW -overal i like them much more than Soul as Freeride HF kite which is this kite primary target. So what should i bring then from your comments? Did you ride Soul?

I'm not saying FRS isn't a good kite, apparently it is. However it is not anywhere near to Soul by its design or specs. This does not mean Soul is better kite in all respects but I strongly believe Soul is a kite of higher performance (higher boost, better upwind, more hangtime, more power during loop). If it wasn't all FS high end design work, high cell count, higher AR, complex inner structure etc. have been in vain.

Very hard to believe it could be so.

I wonder how much more airtight this new fabric will be. From what I observed on the beach in Miami, they lose their air pretty quickly and I’ve seen relaunching problems because of it. Looks like a fun kite though, pretty nimble. I don’t know if it turns faster or just differently than the Soul. It seems to pivot more like the Sonic. Again I haven’t flown one yet, just what I’ve ovserved from the beach.

Do these kites have LCL connecting lines ? Do these kites have leading edge rods ? Do these kites have zippers or velco opening to deflate ?

What's the price compared to the soul ?
Soul is around 400 Dollar more expensive (for a 12m² kite only)

I don’t know anyone who pays list price in the states for FS. How’s the wait time for the RS? Last time I heard it was pretty long since the owner sews them himself. A positive on this though is the quality control has to be fantastic.

List price is the only way to compare them. Quality control is great: kites are test flown before shipping.
