Ordered a Hyperlink V2 13m...Gunnar said it will have at least same low end as my Sonic 2 13m and be faster / tighter turning than the Soul 12.
Anyone interested in buying my Sonic?

Picked up my Hyperlink V2 13m today and tomorrow looks good for a first try in 10 knots.
Rigged the bar today, 55cm w 20 m lines. No time to even roll out the kite to look at it. Bag is UL style and kite fabric feels slippery.
Will try to remember to weigh it.

I’d be interested in turning speed 13 Hyperlink V2 vs 12m Soul. Slow turning and especially slow looping was what eventually made me give up on the 12m Soul.

The Hyperlink V2 13m turns faster. It's a bit unfair comparing the Soul to the Hyperlink though. The Soul is more like a ChronoV3 with its Higher Aspect Ratio.

Was out today in 4ms.
It feels very much like the Hyperlink 9 ul in terms of power delivery and bar input. Higher bar pressure, but still really light with 2 finger one hand sheeting.
Of course it's slower than the 9 but I'd say it's like a 13-15m Lei. No probs looping and slacking it in transition.
It flew in nearly nothing. Wind dropped so I couldn't get up on board, but finally got back in and kite is flying easily. with small beach flag literally not moving. So it will fly in wind lighter than needed to get going.
Once I dumped it in a failed downloop, falling off board. It went nose down, bounced one tip back Up and it rolled over itself. I was sure it was swim Time. By the time I got head over water again it had somehow launched itself. Perhaps lucky, by was amazed. Wind was 4ms.
Other guy out was on 15 storm 1 strut kite, but he had to go in a bit before me as wind dropped.
It's really forgiving kite and compared to my Sonic 2 13 m I had its way less technical to fly and a no brainer for a new foil kiter.

4 m/sec is near 9 mph, or 7.78 knts.
are you sure tom that the wind was so "strong" ?
the new hyperlink 13mtr will surely get you going in that wind speed, on a big wing anyways.
or did you get going and then the wind dropped, which makes more sense :?:

Yes, at beginning of session it was 4ms. Had great fun. Then wind died. On beach the flag was not moving, so it was like 2-3 Ms. Kite still flying without problem, but I couldn't get going on board in water at that point. In water there's a 1 knot current in the wind direction too.
This is typical of our area, 4ms winds are not stable over an hour, they tend to die out.

Only one session on the kite but impression is very positive. The Sonic 2 13 was great lw kite but too technical flying skill needed for me.
Granted, I have purchase confirmation bias.
