I recently have started riding a new Flysurfer Soul 12m, all for foil boarding. Question: I have tried my Ride Engine waist harness but finding it to be uncomfortable and with a bad hook location as it rides up onto my chest. I've seen somewhere an after-market leg-strap add-on for the RE. Help me find these? A bad idea?
Or... What do you like for a seat-type harness for foil kiting? I prefer a minimalist harness with the most comfort.... if possible.
Thank You

I switch between Ride Engine slider and Dakine Vega. On the Vega I have a hook and slider. The Vega is mostly cloth and a minimal seat harness. I think alternating keeps my back happy.

+1 for the Vega as a minimalist harness option that moves the hook point down where it belongs (at/below hip hinge).

Yep +1 for the Vega for foiling, good value. Still use a waist harness for surfboard.

If you want to freeride than any harness is ok. If you want to go faster then go for hte mystic.

I've gone from RE to Dakine board short harness and rope slider. It's way better IMO for foiling. I ride with 6-5, 5-4, 3-2 fullsuit and 2 mm short John in tropical places.
Used it now almost 2 years.
