6 & 10 = close to perfect.
Why I plan on getting the new Sonic in a 11m. Would be a fantastic travel quiver 6/11.

Off topic, but I have Hyperlink 9 UL, that starts at 10 knots on Hf. Then a 7m Hyperlink. There's good overlapping. I'd not want to take 7m Hyperlink in over 25knots. 20 m lines on both.
But I think if I took off my 5m extensions and used 15m lines I'd get a bit more top end out of the 7m. Not tried it.
Why would you post this unless you are deliberately trying to get attention to the HL on a thread only about the Soul??? Kinda sad.

Well.. the Soul12 makes it perfect for me and my son..
Great set, 6, 10 & 12 for foiling (72kg)
If I would only foil and must take 2 it will be 6 & 10.
6 is nice on a surfboard too!

i agree with above.
i have a 6m, 8, and 12m soul..
i'm starting to love the 6m(and use it almost exclusively) for foiling....and 12m is the most used kite i own (and i use it primarily with TT...but i'm learning to appreciate that grunt on a foil too)
(the 8m has also been used as a TT kite)
a 6m and a 12m alone is sufficient for me.
I've seen people complain about the gruntyness of the Soul especially during hydrofoiling but I really like it and use it a lot. It's great for those stand still directional changes on foil and gives the kite a remarkable bottom end for size. Good to see others share my opinion that the grunt is good

I'm trying to help the op understand that 2m between kites is a lot of overlapping and that line length can be a factor.
So chill

I do think the Soul is a great kite but at higher winds the power, especially in the loop, I found difficult to deal with and it’s the reason I went back to LEIs. This is probably more easy to deal with hydrofoiling, where you’re using a smaller kite for the wind, but on a TT in gusty 25 knots I found the 8m Soul really tricky, meaning I had to ride very conservatively, whereas with a 7m LEI I can throw it about and have more fun.

Depending on the LEI though 6m foil is closer to 7m LEI

Agreed although supposedly a larger range at both ends, which I’m not sure is true. At higher winds the power delivery of the Soul, and probably foils in general, means handling mistakes are punished more, especially with regard to loops, which are very powerful in the Soul at higher winds.

I love taking my 15m Soul out in gusty 25 kts, so I guess different strokes for different folks. I'm 170lbs/77kgs

Also for me I struggled to enjoy adapting to two extremely different techniques. Higher winds = LEI and virtually immediate response to input / redirect, then low winds = Soul and the need to think about half a second in advance eg during jumps for redirection etc. Much prefer having a whole set of kites that behave similarly.

Your different sizes of LEI will be behaving completely different because a) they are different size b) you will fly in different wind speeds and this itself alters kite behavior.
You must be a light person if you are ride 132cm board, how much do you weight if you are overpower in 25kts on 8m kite?
