I've gotten comfy with my new Ozone Hyperlink 12m and want to add my gopro to the lines next time out. But I have a question that I should probably know already since I've been kiting since 2005. The best way to land a foil in pumping conditions, without an assistant, is the flag out line safety release. Does that still work if you have a gopro mounted to the front flying lines? I'm guessing no, but wanted to check first. When flying LEI I always tied my chicken loop to a buried sandbag.
I no longer have the option of mounting the camera on the center strut. Where do you mount your gopro, and how do you land your kite? Backstalling?.....I haven't tried that yet.
