Good idea but 90% someone is going to put the catcher in the trash while you're kiting!

My feeling is that all of this setup, time and risk is unnecessary. In lighter wind I back down the kite, in medium wind I back it down from low on tip position, in high winds I release to leash. In high winds this might mean 5 min cleaning up bridles before folding.
Granted, I have clean open launches and have Hyperlinks with minimal bridels.
Overall, I find Hyperlink much more convenient than Lei kites because I kite alone 80% of the time.

well.
i think if you see something like this on the beach you SHOULD put in in the
trash ...
you'll keep the person that brought it from hurting themselves and/or ruining their kite.
