Everyone What do you think?
Ok, here is the situation: You have a narrow beach line, less than 10 meters, beyond that is road, where cars ride from time to time. On the other hand water is filled with algae and weed. And nobody to assist you with landing. How do you land?
And I'd add to the hypothetical that the wind is 25+ knots. I have no trouble self-landing in lighter wind (as shown in the video), but self-landing gets more complicated in higher winds, especially if you don't want to end up with tangled lines. (To the OP, let's see another video of your device in 25+ knots.)
Don’t risk the road side, drop kite in water, pull the kite to you by one of the front lines, get onto shore.
If your depth reception is bad ; then anchor a small buoy in the water to let Yagrigorib wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 1:58 pm...

^^^LEI thing, unfortunately self-landing a foil kite into water will leave you with a wet mess to dry.
Mess-free drift launch and landing were significant factors for me to switch to LEIs
P.S. OP has a cool idea though
New to foil kites after 12 years of LEI. Could someone put up a few videos of safe ways to land a foil kite on a super wide, open beach? Specifically what to do if the wind jacks up to unmanageable gusty emergency levels.
