Thanks, but even if drifting on SUP while trying to initially launch, the kite takes in too much water while getting lines out/ready to be light enough to launch off of the lake...

Two things that might work for that :

1) DrLightWind posted this, on page 2 of that Thread i mentioned.
Looks like an easy way to keep the lines sorted ; for Launch anyway.



2) Pre inflating your kite with a 12v Bilge-blower , should give
you more time, before the kite starts to take on water . I use
one of these for my Peter-Lynn kites on the dry-lake bed in
really light wind, (3-5-mph); got a 3 cell, (3-S) Lipo battery that
i Never charge over 95%, and it works Great !
