I had a 8m pulse 2 also and loved it , but I found it didn't have enough depower for strapless wave riding . I'm on the west coast Grigorib maybe you bought yours from me. I did buy a couple unitys 8m and a deluxe 10m that I kept for years thinking when I started foiling it would be a good kite. Oh was I wrong they where the worse kites I've ever owned .
I got mine in August 2012 from “Fast Lane Marketing & Entertainment”
It was covered in lake bed dust to the point colors were barely visible :)

The genesis is very similar to the pulse 2.

What was I thinking the Genesis costs 1/10 of the pulse 2, so that factor is quite different.

Thanks for alerting me Kristan!

Genesis costs 1/10 of the pulse 2
And so has 1/10 lifespan and quality of the Pulse 2.

No about 90% or 9/10.

Given foils can last decades I don't think anyone would really care.

I'm using Pulse2 14m. Although it's a really old kite, I bought it in decent condition and it flies really well. Quite slow on the turns and refuses to jump, but perfect for chill riding.

It still baffles me that FS refuses to make another low to mid aspect foil kite that would be as friendly and easy to use as Pulse, an entry level kite. There is Viron that nobody asked for and Soul that still requires some skill in handling, since it's, let's be honest, performance freeride kite. Pulse 3 might fill the gap in there, especially with use of hybrid close-to-open air intakes. I know there are kites like this on the market: HQ Empulse that is unavailable for me, due to crazy import custom fees and Ozone Hyperlink with the price tag higher than Soul's.
And PLKB Nova? Lower pricetag.. slightly lower AR than Soul. And quality brand.

Same problems with any kites that don't have local dealer here. I have to pay 30% of the kite price that is above 500 euro as custom fees. For example if kite costs 1500 euro, I have to pay 30% of the 1000, so in the end I will pay more than 1800 for the kite, and for the same price I could get there another Soul from a local dealer.

Besides, watched some videos of Nova, I had an impression that it turns even slower than Soul, and I think that Soul is quite slow in the turns.
