Well, it was an adventure, somewhat backbreaking as I did it on the floor, but I learned to sew this thing back together! And it flies!! Well, in fact. I can’t tell a difference, but I’m not a racer, yet. My wife happens to have a good old embroidery sewing machine that worked like a champ once I learned to work it right.

I’m floored, as I thought this kite wast toast!

The story is I looked out and flew it into a tree as I picked up my board and had to cut half the lines and pull it out one side with a car, ripping it in half and then the other side out the other way. Tree was dead but high, couldn’t climb it safely, was in public park so had to remove quick at all cost.

I have a 1cm hole in my 21m Speed 5 that is in the 6th cell from the wingtip and about 30-40 cm from the trailing edge. I know that it should be "taped" on the inside, but how can I get to it from the intake? Do you just feel your way to the repair site, like wandering through a maze? :D If any recommend opening up the trailing edge to get to it, I will probably just "tape" it from the outside. I know it may not hold up for long, but I can check it periodically. Any recommendations on how to get to the inside "easily" would be appreciated.

It was discussed many times.

Get in via main intakes or the blow valve (or zip like on Ozone Chrono, R1 etc.)

It is not hard. Hard part is not to stick a patch on finger ;)

I found some good info in the Gear Builders forum. My initial search was only under the Foil Kites forum. Gonna give it a go today. Thanks!
