Dear,
A soul 2 would only be justified if it brought significant changes or improvements, perhaps some correction, but it seems that such a thing does not seem to appear.
Soul marked a change within the dynamic foil, has put a mark to which others point, We have seen how other models are compared with the parameters left by the soul. And it's very good, it's a great kite, with a well thought out design.
Before using soul I had a Psycho4, which had a zipper that closed the air flow from the central intake. The internal pressure changed by increasing the upper range and the speed of rotation and direct response on the flight. Ever thought if this in the soul would be applicable ... I do not know, I lack technical knowledge and design to affirm something blunt.
But returning to the spirit of the post, for a soul 2 there should be a substantial change, beyond aesthetics and colors. The footprint I leave deserves it.

As it was said above, a Soul 2 should bring significant improvements to the actual model, and to be sincere, I dont see many things needing to be improved.
Maybe the only thing I can complain about is the time it takes to fill out the tips of the kite, which could be solved by adding an extra 2 intakes, but that s all.
Kite is fast, rigid, jumps nicelly, can do kiteloops up to the 10mt (also 12 but tips start flapping in, so not recomended), so I cant think of any significant improvements.

There is one significant improvement: handling speed. In sizes 12 and up, the Soul is perfect in quite every detail but it's annoyingly slow imo.

There is always room for improvement. I would love to see a Soul 2 with lighter material/construction. Currently the PLKB Nova UL is roughly 500g lighter, depending on kite size, which is quite considerable.

lighter would be always good but then it surely will become less durable....
for me no need but would like to have an easier air outtake.

Well, cannot expect it to be like a LEI, and it is already much faster than a Sonic... And why would you want it to be faster?

I'm not expecting a LEI but I'd like it more reactive. Sizes 10 and 8 are perfect IMO, 12 and 15 not so reactive. The 12 is the size I like less, it's very different from the 10, seems a completely different kite. Never tested 18 and 21. Sonic can't be compared, different kite for a different use.

Please no. Long live the Velcro butthole!
Seriously it’s the lowest maintainance, most airtight lowest risk of swim option we have. Airtight >>> Easy deflate.
Just set the board on the upwind wingtip and the wind deflates the kite by the time you wrap the bar.
