i would go 8 and 12 but add a hydrofoil and go down to 8 knots. It's not much fun on a 15m at 10 knots with a twintip, but you can do huge boosts at 10 knots on a hydrofoil.

really good advice from a response earlier. yes it's theoretically possible to jump from 8 to 15, but the problem is that your best wind range will be right around 10 knots and right around 30 knots. At 20 knots, which is one of your most common wind speeds, you'll be either overpowered (but possible) on a 15 or underpowered on an 8. I would definitely sell the 15, pick up an 8 and 12 and learn how to hydrofoil then you go much much lower in wind range, get a lot more sessions and it's fun hydrofoiling.

You want to set up your quiver so that your most common wind range most fun sessions are where everything is the most dialed in and set up perfectly for the wind speed and conditions.

If you lose a few sessions because it's too windy or not windy enough that's better than getting tired out on a perfect blue bird day because you aren't dialed in.

I know this was about TTs, but it was written in this thread one could foil from 5 knots with 94 kg and a 12 m2.

Don't expect this to be true, you will be disappointed....

My experience with Souls @ 70kg
Minimal wind & Foiling 12m : 6-7kts, 10m: 8kts, 6: 12kts.

For TT; from 12m to 10m is perfect, but stepping down to a 6 from 10 is too much of a gap, you miss the 8...
I bet you will miss a lot on TT with a 15 and an 8... better take the 10...

Out of interest have you tested the 8 on a twin tip? I had assumed that going from a 10 to a 7 (at your weight) would be a reasonable change down. The difference between the 10 and the 8 seemed too close.

Unfortunately I never tried an 8.. my son would really liked it if it would be added.. 8) and a 15..
He had gained some weight. so with TT it would get him going at 10kts again like the 12 did before..
He prefers to go big so the 8.. well we see what happens.

My ideal quivers for tube and twin skin on TT would be spaced at 2m up to 10m / 12m then 3m spacing.

For my current foiling habit my Soul set is perfect and oh boy the Peak4.. 3,4,5 :D
