Found this Ozone Explore 12m in 6 knots maybe! never seen explore on water yet.
I have seen an Ozone Explore on the water, a 6m one I think it was. The person who owned it used it once or twice and then purchased a 5m Flysurfer Peak4 from me. He has been using that Peak4 a lot
Not sure what happened to the Explore.
I have owned the peak 3, 12m and sold it and bought new peak 4, 11m, found the peak 4 had less power vs the peak 3, but less flap. Was looking at specs and the ozone 12m 1.2kg vs peak4 11m, 1.46kg without 5th line. Just wondering how this fellow did this. Maybe the future peaks will go on a diet. My thoughts
Peak 13M arriving today. Planing on a low wind test for Sunday. Forecast is around 8knots. Setting up Peak 8m, 11m, and 13m along with an Ozone Hyper flex 12M. Have 4 riders with weights from 160 lbs to 245.

So the consensus from rider #1 at around 165 lbs who owns the Hyperflex that the Peak 13m was a better kite in all
aspects but did not give enough lift for his upwind turns.
Rider #2 at 220 lbs thought the 13m was as fast as the 11m, flew surprisingly well overpowered in about 15-17 knots on 1 test day. On the other test day in around 8 knots felt like it gave him a 2 knot advantage at the bottom over the 11m.
Rider #3 who owns a 4m, 5m and 8m Peak liked the 11m so much he bought one for low wind. He was unable to go at 8 knots on his 8m but was able to ride no problem on the 11m.
There was no rider#4.

Could #2 ride in 8kts with the 13m and with what board and wing?
ok I'll add my experience to this and I have a video, I am 100kg and was given a demo of the peak4 8m recently and the wind was light so i gave it a go. I think the wind was about 10kn at the start and maybe went down to about 9kn or less, it got annoying after a while so i changed to my 13m R1 - video also on my youtube account. The peak4 8m took some encouragement to get my ass out of the water but once riding (on moses 633) it was fine, but pretty boring and a bit hard to get upwind on toeside (still working on foot-changes). A few times I struggled to water start (check out the struggle at 16m) but got there with some working the kite, note that I was on my race bar and lines which are 13m lines and a 100cm pocket board, so not ideal for light wind. After changing to the R1 13m i was able to ride no problem but was pretty boring on the big wing so just did some gybing/downloop practise. The wind was dying and in the end was about 8kn or less which is my lower limit on R1-13m. I also have a 17m which i can ride maybe 1 or 2 knots lower, the difference is at those low wind levels the 17m pulls hard once riding so its better for riding fast - when I am using my race foil.
Hey derek440 , that is amazing that you were able to get that set up to work at 100kg with 13m lines . I'm using 30m race lines and i'm out with all the guys on their lightest wind setups , and when the wind dies and they swim in I just body drag in .
