So I done the deed .
I sold my flysurfer soul 12m today in favour of the Pansh 12m ultralight A15.
Im haven't gone nuts just a practical approach to a kite that costs over 4x cheaper and does the same job.
This was after back to back sessions on a mountain board in the forest 2 gusting 12 knots.
Findings the a15 bar pressure with Jackomixer was only slightly higher.
Both had similar amounts of depower.
A15 was alot faster turning on the same bar.
A15 didn't full out of the sky bow tie like the soul did.
A15 loops alot tighter. You could over sheet so it flicks round without pulling like a train. Soul looped bigger pulling me off the board.
Lastly you have to remember how to sheet out to get the speed and power from the soul (a15 fly's like a tube kite lots of feeling in the bar a complete joy to use)
Good points for the soul the wingtips were more stable (not a problem on the water for the a15 just Gusty rubbish conditions.)
Jumping with the soul was slightly better . The soul is a awesome jumping machine and still a great kite.
The wingtips when the kite collapses ie 0 wind are released slightly earlier on the soul less bridle to get stuck on.
Now im sure the flysurfer has more performance better topend than the a15.
But the a15 is more stable in light wind weighing slightly less and sitting slightly further back in the window.
Anyway this is just a opinion from a av #loyaltothefoil guy. Definitely no expert .
