I am thinking of buying a foil, the north sonar seems very appealing because of having just one board, the chase, and being able to kite and surf foil.
a friend of mine told me to get the moses, or the the gong as it is much cheaper.
I have a Cabrinha Double Agent Foil..... If I was going again I think I'd get get a gong because they are cheap, parts are easily available and I just like the business in general.
I am going to purchase a Unik as soon as this lockdown is over
There are so many options on the market. The cheapest option is not always the best. An interesting X-Over Foil is the new SHINN MEGA K with the S20.1 stabiliser. Not as cheap as the Gong but cheaper as the Moses. Made in Europe and available in Corona times. https://shinnworld.com/products/foil-model-mega-k

If that is your main requirement you should also check out other brands. What North is offering is not unique at all.
Also, as appealing the idea of only having one board for everything might sound at first, do not forget that it comes with disadvantages. I had a similar setup when I was learning foiling and were never really happy until I bought a dedicated foilboard. The convex deck of a surfboard does not suit foiling at all in my opinion.

Are you sure it's available? The rumour I heard was that Germany were refusing deliveries through their country during their lockdown.

Hey Gunnar, will you review the 1150 Sonar too?
I had a chance to try it shortly and I think it's a very decent contender of the Onda 633, carves a bit better and has a lower stall speed.
It's not a pump wing size for sure, but I managed to do about 10 pumps from the very first attempt (while foiling already), with no prior experience. The 1650 must be the thing for that!

Hi,
Yes. I will do that too. The 1150 is a great carving wing. A lot of fun with a kite. I would not agree with you that it has a lower stall speed than the 633 though.
