Self explaining title.
I think its clear now that you did not like it as much as others. Or?
What is your opinion? Im quite interested
I just got them, 3 and 5 m2, here last thursday
A few hours later, I just unpacked and tried flying the 3 m2 in 12 to 16 knots to trim and get an idea, when I was out kitefoiling at my favorite spot.
Had taken a vacation day from work, actually my birthday, so loads of time, but had many things I had to do.
Out with a 5 m2 tube first, after having checked and trimmed the 3 m2.
A bit later, I took the 3 m2 (as it was rigged up and ready on land) and went out on the Ketos 1200 wing with a 118 pocket board, knowing it was waaaaay too little wind, but managed to ride a bit back and fourth, looping to get up, and sining to keep foiling, and then the wind dropped even further.
I could have taken the 5 m2 Peak4 now, would have been perfectly sized I imagine, but it was late and cold and had to go.
So no, I havent tried them yet, except some flying and trimming and testing on land.
Nice powerspike, turns superfast, and impressed it did not flutter and flap much, actually not a all unless sheeted out
A bit difficult to control the angle, in this light wind, but I know from "too small" kites for a given wind, this is to be expected.
But can say nothing till later.
Oh, got a bar too, quite nice in fact - didnt mount the 5th line safety, will do later just to see how it works.
Sorry, only had them a few days, and did not ride for real yet
Not in a hurry, and can ride every day here, so taking it day by day till it all fall in place - riding waveboards too, wingfoil, occasionally surf, so not always kitefoil - but by far what I do the most (on my mediocre level), no doubt.
Thanks for asking about my opinion, will get back when I have some real experience
Peter
PS: Thanks for pointing me in this thread jumptheshark, I never read the main page, always directly to the forums, only read the hydrofoil section, and now and then the kitesurfing section, thats it, so would never have seen it...
