wind was about 25kn at the start but as you can see a storm was coming and hit with about mid 30kn gusts, luckily someone was able to able to land me quickly when it hit. Per previous post the kite was awesome, perfect for the conditions.

Nice. Great kite.
I like your nice simple bar set up.

In my opinion the 6m Pulse 2 is a great kite for high wind. Safe to launch, and very comfortable even at its top end. I’ve used it comfortably in >35kts on a twintip. Well made. Stable in gusty winds. Not very floaty in the jumping department.

The 8m Pulse 2 had a lot of instability (frontal/shoulder collapse) out of the bag for several different 8’s owned by me and a couple of friends. It needed a little B and C shortening and become very stable and user friendly.

I’ve also flown a 10 and 12, and owned and used a 14 for a while. But overall I found them pretty unexciting.

As a high wind hydrofoil kite I think they might be really nice.

My brother now owns my old 6m Pulse 2 and I haven’t used it in a while. For my high wind riding I’m either using a Flysurfer Sonic 9 or an old Flexifoil Blade 4.9.

I had a pulse 2 zipper that would open in flight. So I would not ride out farther than you want to swim. They weren't bad kites to fly.
Hey Jake,

Wasn’t there a little McLube on that Pulse 2 zipper that kept opening?

There was but I think the problem more a bad tooth in the zipper.

I have a pulse2 6metre , I landboard , and find this the best high wind kite I ever had/have , alltho I haven't had chance to try the 6 soul yet because of lockdown
years ago I tried speed2 6metre which was too fast to keep it airbourne, and a crazy kite , but I intend to put that on handles when my wife gets round to repairing some stitching -
I only got the 6 pulse 2 as a swop, but I was very surprized how stable and loverly it is to fly in a high wind , I found with the pulse2 6m I could 11'0clock to 1'0clock in a jump but because it was so quick I could dip it down to 2 o'clock and it gave it some turbo boost and is a joy to fly
the sparepart line is very worn but because I have a lot of kites in a small space , I have put all my new sparepart lines in a box and I am not 100% certain what length the pulse2 6 metre is but I have a box full- is it the C sparepart line 100cm ? thanking you in advance as I would like to change this before I fly this kite again , I did set up the mixer but the lines are a mess

I never used the zipper on any of my old flysurfer's , I just pack my kite last and roll and fold the air out and stuff sack
