I felt bad that I could not help him, the kite just flew so badly.
so if you spend so little cash on a brand new kite, dont expect too much, it flew, it looked quite nice, but it was just not right for using on a foil board or ttip, ...
Long story you posted, but lets be honest here ; it's mostly about your ineptitude .

My A15 wasn't that great a flying kite when i first got it ; but i had
already done the research, (about 2 hours worth) and knew what it could
do, when the proper mod was applied. Took me another 1/2 an hour of my
time ; and now i got a Great kite , for little money.

From the list of kites you fly , i can see you wouldn't need to bother with
the technical end of trimming a kite ; Ozone kites usually fly fine, right
out of the bag.

Dude, i'm not banging on ya :
Just suggesting that you may not have bin the best person to ask, on how
to trim a kite ; it was that comment below, told me :

my one hour battle with it to try and get it to fly in any way I could relate to ended with me telling him the best thing about it was it was very near to a bin on the beach, and that's where i would put it,
...
might work ok on a land board, I don't know,
Yes , 100% positive on this ; you really didn't know, and your EGO was
too big to tell him. The guy should have done some research first ; he
should have gotten the A15 for his first try at a foil kite, after flying
nothing but tubes. The 9M Aurora III has a 7.2m wingspan with 31 cells , and
the 9M , A15 has a shorter wing span @ 6.65m, and has More cells, with 33.
The A15 will hold a better airfoil ; based on that data.

Read the above again ; now do you remember, posting this ?

I am tempted myself to buy a 9mtr Aurora V3 at 269 us dollars free delivery, paypal assured payment,
what can you loose?
a front wing for my foil is 50% more expensive.
a better bet than an old second hand chrono v1 that may destroy your foiling dreams on first drop in the water as it sucks up the water,
second hand foil kite? only buy after a try.
or from a trusted friend is my advice.
or after looking at the new Aurora 3 more closely, realy? new kite for peanuts where is the risk?
it will be a cheap christmas pressie for me for sure.
A , "Higher" AR ; does Not always indicate, a Better flying kite . :bye:
