Wondering if anyone has some advice - my PeterLyn 11m Aero V1 does the big wingtip fold when low in the window.. and tries to tangle its self up in the bridle.
I'm getting to the point where swimming isn't my thing

I have the same problem with the same kite. The kite is totally unflyable. The wingtips always collapse. No matter if you make z bridles longer. I have tried several bridle modification without success. I think the only solution is to get the Aero V1 bridle plan, but Peter Lynn KB refuses to provide this information.

if adjusting the bridles doesn't solve it I am afraid the cloth is not airtight enough anymore. Especially the standard version deteriorates too quickly, in particular the black parts in the wingtip. So try to do a porosity test to see if the cloth is still ok.
Only thing you can do when too porous is to get the parts that are affacted recoated or even changed in a repair shop if it is only the black parts.

On the basis the speed system is the same for the Aero V1, you can at least check the speed system as detailed in the link.
https://www.peterlynnkiteboarding.com/s ... _guide.pdf
Incidentally, I have only had wing tip tuck once on one of my Chrono’s that was when I had made an adjustment to the speed system, but overlooked the task of extending “Z”
Extending “Z” resolved the issue immediately.

Thanks guys I'll see what I can do..
After reading various threads on tuning mods - I'm actually looking forward to having a play with different ideas.
It may work out to nothing, but I'll gain some knowledge on what you can and can't do and wether there is some give & take ..
