Flysurfer Warranty Issue and Shit Customer Service

Postby RomeUtah » Sat Jun 06, 2020 12:48 pm

Any one else experience poor customer service from Flysurfer? Or am I special. I reached out to FS about 2 months ago as one of the mixer lines came completely undone (the stitching holding the loop on the br 1 line came off) on the z mixer. They replied with "let me ask my colleague, and he will reach out to you" 2 months later with constant reminder from me to update me on the status, and still nothing. I got the kite in feb brand new and flew it for maybe 15 sessions.
On a similar poor craftsmanship note my infinity bar has chunks of grip just coming off. I have BEST kite bars that I have used in water and snow for years and they still look good, while my 450$ FS bar is coming apart in less than 4 months, what the actual f***?

2 months?.. a loosening stitching from one of the mixer Lines?..
well that shouldn’t happen but why didn’t you get a needle and simply repair it? Or replaced it with one of the extra mixer lines you got in the spareparts. (If they are there, depending which kite you got)

Janus, part of it is the principle behind the matter, part of it is, I use the kite for gliding and would rather have the exact part without negotiating safety. The mixer coming undone on a 2700$ product after a bit more than a dozen uses is pretty pathetic, the grip coming apart in the same time and use is just shotty workmanship... correct me if im wrong.

FS has good customer care, did you contact your dealer?
The intention of my DIY repair is that you don’t mis kiting / gliding days.

I own Flysurfer Souls ( also other makes ) and have contacted Flysurfer via Facebook messenger with a few questions about tuning and set up and once about replacing the mixer lines and I’ve always had a reply within the day .

Only my personal experiences but I’ve had better customer service with Flysurfer than any other brand that I’ve owned.

Very unusual, who’s your dealer? You might have better luck contacting Flysurfer HQ in Germany.

The infinity bar has always had issues with the grips coming off. Which gen infinity is it? Was hoping the 4.0 was better.

Hey,
I have been in contact with the dealer and they are very good (i will not name the shop), I have also been in contact with HQ and HQ themselves have had poor communication with me. My conversation has been very frustrating with them for last 2 months... hence the post for other ideas and if anyone else has had similar experiences with them.
