So the loss of row “C” and even with the addition of battens still contributes to an overall net gain!
Nice to see continued innovationin in foil kites.
They actually lost both C and Z, only 2 bridle conection areas, so the behaviour of the kite is changed by changing the angle of attack of the whole kite (tilting whole thing up or down) instead of changing the camber (similar to the effect that Flaps have on planes).
Pricewise, previously both Sonic Race and Sonic Race VMG where priced at the same point 2749 for a 9, 2949 USD for a 11, 3249 USD for a 15 and 3699 USD for a 21, this was excluding tax.
VMG2 seems to have similar prices in Euro, but also seems they included the VAT, in which case kites should be cheaper than previous generation.
