I'm guessing they made similar changes as the R1 V4. Perhaps an adjustable mixer?
I hope they keep the V3 standard prices and not the V3 ultralight prices!
I hope they keep the same mixer and superb bridals as they use now on the v3 chrono and v1 and v2 hyperlinks, all parts interchangeable and same orbit pulleys, steve has had a set of V3 chronos since they came out after the v2 chrono, which he also had, and I have had 4 chrono v3s and 3 hyperlinks v2 and v1, never had to adjust any mixer or bridal line and i use my kites nearly every day, rarely miss a session, and steve somehow manages to get out 4 days a week on average, and we have not yet met anybody who has has to adjust any mixer or bridal on these two models of chrono v3 and hyperlinks, ( apart from sliding the Z line knot up a few Cm after 60-80 hrs use) different story for his old v2 chrono which went out of tune, different bridals on the old kites,
these current bridals are superb, all smooth and slippy, and pulleys that are robust and don't seem to wear, I bought a new replacement speed system complete with pulleys just in case last year- £36, ( just one side ) and its still unwrapped, so I don't want them to alter any part of the line system.
steve is now changing over to Ozone R1 race kites, full set, the speed systems on them are adjustable, they need to be as the bridals are sticky spiders web type thin line that I hate, they needs care and maintenance to stay in tune, but he will be racing so he needs them, and after owning the v2 chrono knows how to maintain thin bridal lines.
