pyshco 3 6metre

i just picked up a rasta p3 6metre in really good nick , and i've spent all afternoon setting it up to my liking , and set the mixer too , what exactly are the loops on the brake/steering lines for ?, backstalling maybe, and could i use them to to put on my stake , i always backstall and use a landing line across the balls to hold the kite on a long stake in the beach ,but no balls on these , alltho i could make use of the little stainless rings and put a landing line across those , its just something i like to use to hold my kites , while i take a break from landboarding ,and a snack and check my sugar levels

this kite is a beauty, i have never seen a rasta pyshco 3 , jet flaps yellow and white , it looks really cool and different

yea i had a custom old tatty p3 10metre, and i did my first 720's with that kite ,that was one i should have kept , but i always wanted a p3 6metre and i jumped on this one , especially a rasta one in really good nick, i've never seen one before

yup, the rings are oh shit lines - you can back stall the kite with them.

Yes you can stake them. The change in the bridle geometry in the p3 meant that the kite did not sit parked on trailing edge, like the psycho 1's ,when leashed.

I have an 8, 10 and 13 in the loft if you are interested - all in pretty good nick.

edit i just looked at an old video of me flying a pyshco3 10 and a 17 , and on the helmet cam i can see i had a length of double braided rope , across the stainless rings
so i'll do that tomorrow on my rasta 6metre tomorrow , its been a log while since i flew them and a long of water has gone under the bridge since then and my memory is a bit shot from the all the gamma treatment to my head

the 10 metre i had i loved , but the 17 was allfully slow as i bet the 13 is , but its the same with all kites, the early big ones are like stoned dinosaurs , but the smaller ones can be fast and agile , as is true with early flexi blades - big old ones , are slow , but the smaller old ones can be a joy to fly -check out the blade3 3metre in a steady18/20 mph+ onshore, hooked in of course , its the only way with roller powerline strop
