FYI i am currently using my v2 9m in tarifa for hydrofoil and directional. I find it too slow for strapless freestyle but winner in light winds. (7kn 9m and foil)
No issues with coating etc.
Never filled with water as i can relaunch this kite quicker than any other on the market, reverse launch in a second or 2. So easy and quick.
Packs down super small and light.
Self launch just landing is a pig without assistant.
Any questions just ask...
had to wait 15 weeks for it last year, don't think you will be getting a V3 any time soon.
Ya but how is the V2 compared to the V1 ultra light terms of the kite being in the water for awhile .The V2 only comes one way .
The V2 fabric is similar in weight to the Ultralight V1 fabric. Although it has a better coating... feels very much more slipppery and water resistant. The v2 fabric is very airtight... although I don't have any review of how the fabric holds up over time. My guess is that it might become less waterproof after a year or 2.
I would guess that we'll see a Hyperlink V3 before then end of the year because the V2 is more than 2 years old now.

Looks like I was wrong in my guess about the V3 release date. I think many kite manufacturers have issues caused by COVID... so it looks like the normal 2 year cycle will be increased for the Hyperlink.
in 3:00 minute of video there is shot of his board and seems like he has 5 Woo's mounted on the board. Is this some world record for number on Woo's on same board?
Anyone know how the v3 compared to Chrono v4? I want the performance of the Chrono, but the possibility of 5th line definitely makes the Hyperlink interesting.

It looks like the Hyperlink V3 is a little bit higher aspect ratio and higher performance than the Hyperlink V2. The Hyperlink V3 has 2 extra cells than the V2. But of course it won't be as high performance as the Chrono v4.
