Guys
Just need some feedback from those who have/had both these sizes (13 and 15), is there any point in owning both sizes ? currently I have 11m sonic 3 and 15m soul and thinking about 13m sonic or chrono ..mainly for going fast and jumping (70kg) on race foil..problem I see with 13m size is its not for the lowest wind so I tend to go for the soul when around 10kts and the 11m has such a big wind range - fun 14kts-22kts ..
thanks

It's a bit like the Girlfriend topic..
If you think you need it, buy it.
Or try it before.

13m and 15m would be a nice option. If you regularly ride in low winds then it would be nice to be perfectly powered whatever the winds. (not completely necessary but certainly nice).
I think typicaly a 4m gap works well depending on your weight (e.g. 9m and 13m / 11m and 15m/ 13 and 18m).
The Soul would give you easier relaunch, but the Chrono likely jump slightly higher - so maybe nice to have the Chrono for low wind jumping.
New toys are always fun so no need to try to justify it to yourself!

Mental exercise to justify spending more money on kitesurfing gear?
13m and 15m on LEI is a very small gap not to mention on foil kite, isn’t that Sonic 3 has even lower end that same size Soul? You must have good range overlap already

I have a sonic 3 13m and kinda want to switch to 11m and 15m. I don't think you need both 13 and 15, but I might end up with both because I want the 15 for lighter wind.

Ha I have a Sonic3 11m and kinda want a 13m.
A 13/15 quiver is way too tight. One of the great things about foil kites is their HUGE wind range. Right now I'm rocking a Sonic3 11m and Soul 6m and have no problems and am covered from 8kts to 35+

Hah, want to trade your 11 for my 13 and I'll get a 15?
I have a 9 as well, with a 9/13 quiver which works pretty well, but I want to go 9/11/15 for smaller gaps and better lowend.

The 15 Sonic 3 has a huge wind range, definitely no need for a 13, maybe it’s worth selling the 15 Soul instead.
I have the 15 Sonic, dropping to a 10 Soul on a fast wing, but I can drop to a 4.8 cloud on a surf wing. I’m good until 15knots on the Sonic.

Like everybody else here I would skip a size in the larger kites and I would add that I would choose a higher aspect ration kite in the big size.
The only reason I would choose 11 13 15 is if my girlfriend wanted to kite and a one size difference kept us both happily on the water at the same time. And if she show any interest at all we would get whatever kite model size and color she wanted.

i sometimes think a 5m, 9m,, 15m (hyperlink, hyperlink, chrono) would be ultimate 3 kite quiver,,,or 2 kite quiver would be 5 and 11,, or 7 and 13.....the 7 is a little argumentative in over 22-23 ish mph. for me anyway.
