Does anyone know what the mixer lines are made of on a Flysurfer foil kite?
If I made my own out of dyneema (I can splice dyneema) would it make any difference?
Cheers

Dyneema, check their downloads (line plans) if you want to know precisely. Idea behind is it should be strong and not to stretch, and it is correct. But those lines tend to shrink quite a lot so it isn't anywhere near perfect but probably best what is possible today.
FS mixer has adjustment to level it, to compensate shrink.
I used to use some high quality PE line, it worked ok as well. So not that critical but some dyneema line is best choice

That specific liros line is a sleeved monofilament (non braded) dyneema. The point of that is that it shrinks more slowly than plain dyneema, and shrinkage is the big problem with pully lines. But I don't have any data on that. Maybe thicker dyneema would also shrink more slowly? That kind of line can be hard to source locally.
